Ezio Auditore da Firenze was one of the most powerful and respected Assassin from the Assassin’s Brotherhood. Born in Florence Ezio is the Ancestor of Desmond Miles with the help of whom Abstergo could manage to gather information about this Assassin. Ezio was unaware of his Assassin ancestry until the age of 17 when he saw his Father and two brothers being executed in front of his eyes by the Templars. He was forced to flee from his birthplace and he moved on with his mother and sister to his uncle’s place in Tuscan town of Monteriggioni, at the Villa Auditore. After knowing his ancestry Ezio began his training on his quest for vengeance against the Templar Order, and their Grand Master, the Spaniard Rodrigo Borgia, who had ordered the execution of his kin. Ezio became quite of a Traveller and united Assassins from different parts of the world including the Italian brotherhood and the Constantinople Brotherhood. During his travels, Ezio found the keys to aged Masyaf fort where was hidden the secret library of Altair. He learned much about the Templar orders, the apple of Eden and the brotherhood from the library.
Ezio helped spreading renaissance in Florence, Italy and several other countries, and also helped in the travels of Christopher Columbus.
Apart from all the killing and running Ezio had a relationship with Cristina Vespucci, who was a beautiful lady from Florence and was a model for the painters of Florence. However Cristina was killed by the enemies of Ezio. She dies in his arms giving Ezio a pendent she preserved for twenty years and wished if she could get another chance.
After retiring Ezio resided in a Tuscan villa with his wife Sofia Sartor, and his two children; Flavia and Marcello. He died at the age of 65 because of heart attack.
